I am a counselor who truly feels honored to be working alongside adult clients to help facilitate the change they need in their life. In addition to being a therapist, I have worked in higher education since 2006 as a college professor and even an adviser, so I have the passion and the knowledge base required for working with college aged clients. I also have years of experience working with adults who have experienced trauma, or struggle with anxiety, depression, personal, or marital issues.
In my counseling practice I primarily use EMDR, CBT, TF-CBT, and Solution Focused Therapy. I consider myself a client-centered therapist, an equal, and a part of your team. I also offer life coaching/consulting as an alternative to counseling if you feel your issues aren’t due to a mental illness. For more information on coaching, visit here.
I am very passionate about my clients and I strive to create a comfortable and safe atmosphere that fosters change and personal growth. I offer sessions both in office and via telehealth so you can pick which method best suits your needs. I am currently accepting new clients, and I would love to assist you in accomplishing your therapeutic goals.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Are you accepting new clients?
Yes! If you would like to schedule you can email me at kendallrogers06@gmail.com
What’s the difference between counseling and life coaching?
Counseling focuses on resolving psychological issues and learning tools to help you cope with psychological diagnoses. Life coaching is for those individuals who are looking for guidance in dealing with personal issues. You will learn ways to make decisions that are best for you and how to achieve the life you’ve always wanted!
Can I contact you on behalf of my college student?
Sure! I'd be happy to answer any questions you have and help them get scheduled, but once sessions start, I will not be able to share any information that I don't have written consent to share with you.
Are your sessions in person or virtual?
I currently offer in office sessions and telehealth sessions. If you’re new to telehealth, don’t worry! It has proven to be a great tool to connect anywhere, making it easier for you to find a time to meet. All virtual sessions are conducted through a HIPAA compliant portal to ensure your privacy. In-office sessions are conducted in a private office where your conversation will be kept confidential.
What are your hours of operation?
I offer sessions during daytime/school hours. To best accommodate my family, I do not offer evening or weekend sessions.
Do you accept insurance?
I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield and HealthChoice only. You should call your insurance company to make sure mental health services are covered on your plan and to see if services are subject to your deductible. If you have insurance I do not take, you can try to submit your own claim to have insurance reimburse you, just ask for an invoice after your session and you can forward that to your insurance agent.
I also offer a private pay rate of $150 for the intake appointment, and $120 for all appointments following that. Private pay has proven to be an easier method to paying for your services because you don’t have to wait on insurance claims and your diagnosis is kept completely confidential.
How do you take payments?
When you schedule an appointment, you will fill out paperwork that puts a credit card on file with me that will be charged immediately after your session. This ensures that you don’t have to worry about bringing payment each session and it saves you time by not having to wait for your payment to go through. If you have a balance on your account, that amount will be ran prior to your appointment beginning. You will be emailed a receipt, so if you are wanting to file your own insurance claim, you have that information to send your insurance company.
Motivation comes from within — and I’m here to help you activate it.
